Cost for Conference

You will register and pay for the conference either through this site or through your local Extension Agent or Coordinator. You will need to reserve your hotel rooms SEPARATELY through the Capitol Plaza Hotel. Visit the Hotel Section of this website for more information about room rates and reservations.

  • The total cost for the 3-day event is $160.00. This includes everything except the fees for the Advanced Training Courses on Friday afternoon. These are $15.00 each. (We say 3-day event however, the Advanced Training sessions on Friday are an extra charge and are not included in the Conference registration fee.)
  • The deadline for Registration for the Conference is: September 11, 2009
  • There are special rates for rooms at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. CLICK HERE for more information.
  • The deadline for room reservations at the special conference rate is: August 19, 2009.

"A la carte"

Should you be unable to attend the entire conference, or just wish to attend for the tours or the educational sessions, for example, then you may choose your days and activities "a la carte." Some of these prices are listed below. More information and details will be forthcoming soon.

  • Friday Activities - No charge for reception, "Hospitality Suite", etc. Advanced Training is an extra charge.
  • Advanced Training - $15.00 per course
  • Saturday Only - $130.00 (Includes Tours, Lunch and Banquet)
  • Sunday Only - $60 (Includes Educational Sessions and Luncheon)
  • Additional Meals (for friends, spouses, etc.) All three meals - $80.00
    • Saturday Lunch Only - $15.00
    • Saturday Banquet Only - $40.00
    • Sunday Luncheon Only - $25.00

Additional Items

  • If you register for the full conference by August 28, 2009, you will receive a free,short-sleeved conference T-shirt.
  • T-shirts can also be purchased during registration and at the conference for $15.00 each or 2 for $20.00

  • There will be a silent auction set up in the hotel atrium.
  • There will be a raffle for prizes including a quilt valued at $1000.00, a painting by a local artist, stepping stones and more. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and will be available at time of registration and at the conference. The drawing will be held Saturday night after the Banquet.
